Almost Done
Can you believe it's almost over? This 2 year journey? 75 days and I'm getting nervous. haha there are so many things that have gone through my head thinking about when he comes back. For one. I don't even know what I'm going to do when i see him. Before I see him I will be FREAKING OUT. Honestly, we will probably both bawl our eyes out. haha I like to tell myself I'm not going to cry...but let's be honest, it's inevitable. Second, I am nervous about the first month that he will be back, because I will still be living in Ogden and he will be in Logan, and I'll want to be with him every day! haha It's only an hour away so we will both do our fair share of driving back and forth, and at least we can call each other or skype, but I don't know...it just stresses me out. Third, Klay has taken his mission very serious...which is wonderful, not a bad thing. But...he's gonna be really weird. haha I think it is going to take him a while to snap out of missionary mode. However, more than I am nervous about all of that, I am so excited. I can't even express it in words, but I just want him back! To hold his hand and cuddle on the couch and have tickle fights, oh i can't wait for him to make me laugh again! It's going to be perfect, and these last 75 days are going to kill me, but it's going to be so worth it! In other news...my christmas/new years presents! Klay asked his mom to go get me some things with his money for Christmas, and he had his companion Elder Lippold bring some things home to give me. I met elder lippold on new years eve and he gave me the best package I have ever received. It had multiple letters, his first mission journal, a bufanda (scarf), a painting, a soccer jersey, and a scarf thing that the women there use to carry their babies in. I love him. I am the luckiest girl alive.

The Gift
A couple weeks ago I was studying on campus for finals, thank goodness they are over, and there was a boy that kept walking past me. The first time he walked past me I smiled at him, just to be nice. Then about the 4th time he walked by me, he stopped and handed me a present and said, "I just want you to have this, Merry Christmas!" I said thank you and he walked away. It made my day! It was a box with candy and a $25 gift card to Amazon. Whaaaattt?! yeah. It was the best thing ever! But ever since that happened, I have wanted to go buy something, wrap it up and give it to someone random that just smiles at me. I'm gonna make it a tradition :) What a good surprise :) I am also getting another gift... from Klay! AH! He sent a bunch of stuff home with one of his companions, elder lippold, and I am going to meet him somewhere so that he can give me the stuff :) I'm way too excited! Klay made it a clear note not to flirt with him haha he said,
"i told him you would tear him up if he flirted with you :)" oh klayton... :)
An update with Klay, He is zone leader! woot woot! I think He is a little bit stressed, but it is good for him to be busy! Having his companion come home was hard for him, he just got really trunky...so I am trying my hardest to not talk about when he comes home or getting married! To make it worse, before his companion, Elder Lippold, left he would always ask, "do you miss her?" haha. His new companion is Elder Meza, and I think they get along good! They just had three baptisms and he mentioned that they have 2 more soon if everything goes as planned. The food makes him sick there... :( He says he likes to eat fruits and vegetables cause they are the only thing that doesn't make him sick. He gets to skype on Christmas!!!! wahoo! not me... haha but oh well. I am excited for him to see his family. This is the last phone call! The last Christmas...now we just have to get through Valentines day and we will be good ;) It is to the point where he doesn't seem real...like he's a ghost or something. I think I'll be in shock when I see him. ha Only 112 days left!

Planning
I've got a big announcement! drum roll... We are gettin married! FOR REALS. FOREVER. I can't believe the big day is only a little over 6 months away! I have started wedding planning, I even called the temple today and scheduled it! Ahh! The big day is June 27th, 2015. On that day he will be mine forever :) I. AM. SO. PUMPED. Other than scheduling the temple, I also got a FANTASTIC wedding photographer! You can check out her blog here. I have been texting her, she is so nice and I am excited to work with her! I am kind of having a hard time with Klay not being here to help me...sometimes I just really want his opinion on things! But I want it to be all planned for the most part when he gets home so that we can just have fun and not have to worry about wedding stuff. Some people probably think I'm crazy...I'm not even engaged for heavens sake. haha But...I know what I'm doing. trust me. :) I wouldn't be planning if I had even an inkling of doubt. Can he just come home already?? 4 more months!!!

Sweets
I have been eating a lot of sweets lately...mostly because I am procrastinating doing chemistry homework so I bake cookies and such, but it was also Halloween the other day and hardly any kiddos came knocking, so I have been eating all the candy. Klay called me "sweets" this week, he has called me a lot of things, "honey bunches of oats", "louchadorcita (little fighter)", "babe-a-lou", but never "sweets"...I thought it was quite "sweet" of him.
"thank you sweets! haha when i was little, my mom would always call me sweets. one day i came upstairs she was cooking cookies and she said "how are ya sweets?" i said "Good! and speakin of sweets!" haha and ate the cookies. did i mention that was in my super chubby years. . . :) hehe. love you lou. Search for some good talks this week and send em to me my sweets! :)"
oh Klay, I love him. I sent him a note card with a tic tac toe game drawn on it a few weeks ago...after a year and a half my letters are all starting to sound quite mundane, so I decided to start adding silly things, like tic tac toe games. I decided to be X's and I put an X in one of the spots, I was waiting for him to send it back with an O in a different spot and then...
...I got this picture on Monday... I couldn't stop smiling for about an hour straight.

Stuck
I really should be writing a paper right now, but I have just been really frustrated and I just need to write about it somewhere. Have you ever felt like you are stuck in a stage of your life that you will never get out of? Like you know someday it will all change, but in the moment it just seems like it is going to go on like this forever. That is how I am feeling. And I know this is a terrible outlook on life...I know a lot of you are thinking, geez just enjoy life, stop complaining blah blah blah. Let me tell ya, I'm trying, but like I said, I feel stuck. I feel like Klay is never coming home. Like I have been saying for a few months now, it is so close! But he is still not here. And I understand that might make me sound pathetic also... like I should be able to find friends and be social with other people besides Klay. which, again, makes me feel like I am stuck. I feel like I talk to a lot of people, and have a lot of friends, but lets face it, guys don't want to hang out with a girl who doesn't want to date them and I have always gotten along better with guys than girls. I loved last year, because I became really good friends with that group of guys and I always knew I would have fun with them, but now they are all gone to different places and I just feel alone. I am sick of trying to make new friends all the time, like can't people just come into your life and stay for a while? why does everyone leave? So i'm about to the point where I give up on being social and just wait for Klay. I guess I'll just stay stuck for 6 more months.

SIX!
Wow. I feel like I have so much to say and not the words to say it. I guess first of all... ONLY 6 MONTHS LEFT! The reality of how soon he comes home just keeps sinking in more and more! When I say 6 months, it seems like a lot....that's half a year. But! we started with 24, so I am pretty proud of how low of a number 6 is. We talk about it all the time. Maybe it's not a good thing, but I can't help telling him how excited I am, and it's a plus to hear him say how excited he is :) I always remind him to not be trunky though...don't worry :) If I thought he wasn't extremely focused on the work, i wouldn't talk about it as much, but he can handle it :) Second thought.. general conference was SO GOOD! I miss watching conference with my family, or with people for that matter. haha But I think being able to watch it on my own was a much needed experience. I was able to really focus on what they were saying with no distractions. They talked a lot about personal revelation, which meant a lot to me. I tend to not talk about little revelations that I have so much because sometimes I feel like it makes me sound like a crazy person. :) Like saying it out loud, "i had a revelation" i don't know it just sounds strange.. but really it is so special and it is such an amazing gift that Heavenly Father has given us to be able to receive revelation from him for ourselves. I don't remember receiving very many revelations before Klay left, maybe I wasn't paying attention, or I just wasn't asking a whole ton of questions about my life. I did receive some that I can remember, but ever since he left I have had to have a lot of questions answered and a lot of comfort given, about him and just about my life in general. I have to say, without the revelation I received, I don't think I would have waited. I couldn't have waited two years without knowing for myself that I would end up marrying him, it would just be too hard! So I am extremely grateful for the power of prayer, fasting, the scriptures, and definitely personal revelation. I have experienced tremendous blessings from all of them! President Uchtdorf (He is my absolute favorite btw) talked about this in one of his talks, he says:
"The Everlasting and Almighty God, the Creator of this vast universe, will speak to those who approach Him with a sincere heart and real intent. He will speak to them in dreams, visions, thoughts, and feelings. He will speak in a way that is unmistakable and that transcends human experience. He will give them divine direction and answers for their personal lives. Of course, there will be those who scoff and say such a thing is impossible, that if there were a God, He would have better things to do than hear and answer a single person’s prayer. But I tell you this: God cares about you. He will listen, and He will answer your personal questions."
I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Honestly I do not know what in the world I would do without it. Even though my life isn't so spectacular right now, it's kinda lonely, I can still find peace and happiness through my Savior, Jesus Christ. And how grateful I am for that! Until next time :)

Update
Wow I am terrible at blogging. I'm still here don't worry! :) Now Summer is gone and I am back at Weber going to school, Weber state, Weber state, great great great! :) It is good to be back at school I suppose. Lots of my friends aren't going to Weber this year, so it has been kind of hard for me, but I am busy again so time is passing quickly! And that makes me so happy. Klay gets home in 7 months! WHAT?! yeah, crazy I know. I try not to mention it in every letter that I write to him haha It is just so exciting! Speaking of that, HERE is month 14, 15, and 16! Don't forget to read the poem :) As for Klay, he is doing really well. He has his first hijo (son) Elder Seibers, and he is really proud of him. haha Klay makes elder seibers speak spanish in his voice recordings to me to show me how well he taught him :) They always sound so happy in the recordings, so that is good :) They are having a lot of success recently! To this day, Klay has had 19 baptisms!! What a stud. :) So..yeah I like to brag about him, he's great. As for me waiting, well i'm still waiting! haha It is still extremely hard. But it has gotten easier after we hit the year mark. I think it only got easier because I have gotten used to him being gone. But I still think of him every day and wish that he could be here with me. As bad as waiting has been, it has been good. For both of us. I think we have both learned a lot about ourselves, each other, and we have truly learned how to rely on our Savior, which has been a blessing that I wouldn't trade for anything. Find joy in the journey :)
